Srinagar: Government forces Wednesday laid a siege to Bamnoo village of South kashmir’s Pulwama district after receiving special inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Official sources said that search operation was launched in Bamnoo by a joint team of  44 RR and CRPF 182,183 and Pulwama Police.

Door to door search operation was going on when reports last came in.

Pertinently same kind of operation was launched in Harmain Shopian and Larow Tral  earlier taday which ended peacefully.
