Srinagar: Government on Friday announced the winter vacations for schools across Kashmir zone.

All Govt/Private educational institutes of Kashmir Valley and Winter Zone of Jammu Division shall observe winter vacations as per fallowing schedule.

“The last working day of classes up to 8th standard shall be 02-12-2017 and the winter Vacation shall be observed from 04-12-2017 to 03-03-2018,” an order issued by the education department said.

The last working day of classes of Class 9th onwards shall be 09-12-2017 and the winter Vacation shall be observed from 11-12-2017 to 24-02-2018, it added.
