Anantnag: Jammu and Kashmir today have claimed to have arrested a drug peddler along with seven kilograms of ‘charas’ from his possession.

Acting on specific information, police laid a trap and nabbed the alleged drug peddler, Firdous Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Katriting, falling under the police jurisdiction Bijbehara.

The arrested was carrying the contraband on a motorcycle bearing registration No, CH01AS-5745, from Kanelwan towards Bijbehara .

Police have registered a case (FIR NO. 198/2017) under section 8/20 NDPS Act against the accused. (Kashmir Wire)
