Kamran Yousuf’s bail plea rejected by NIA in Patiala House Court

The Patiala House court has rejected the bail plea of a photojournalist Kamran Yousuf who was arrested in connection with the alleged terror funding case in south Kashmir’s Pulwama in September.

According to the reports, National Investigation Agency (NIA) has sought time till 15 November for verification of certain documents.

Kamran Yousuf was arrested on September 5 on charges of stone pelting and spreading rumours by the NIA and was taken to New Delhi for interrogation.

Kamran Yousuf, who works as a freelance photo-journalist in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district is accused of uploading ‘Provocative ‘video on his Facebook profile.

Pertinently, union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on September 10 had assured “all possible help” in the case of Kamran Yousuf.
