NC leader’s house attacked with Grenade in Tral, CRPF officer injured

Srinagar: A paramilitary CRPF officer sustained splinter injuries after unknown persons on Sunday lobbed a grenade on the house of a National Conference leader Mohammad Ashraf Bhat.

Official sources told GNS that suspected militants the hurled the grenade which exploded with a bang.

In the incident a CRPF officer (ASI) Ali Mohd of 180 bn was injured and has been hospitalized.

The security guards also retaliated with firing.

Soon after the incident government forces launched a hunt to nab the assailants.
