Srinagar: Suspected militants on Sunday lobbed a grenade on the house National Conference leader, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat in Tral town of Pulwama. Bhat is son of former MLA of Tral Mohammad Subhan Bhat.
The grenade explodeded at the main gate of the residence, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat told Kashmir Reader.
One CRPF personnel has sustained injury in hand, he said adding that no one in the family was hurt.
Additional forces have been rushed to the attack spot.
This is the third attack in last four days in which residence of any pro-India politician was targeted in southern Kashmir.
