Forces ‘vandalize’ militant’s houses during night raid in Shopian

Srinagar: Government forces last night allegedly vandalised property of the active militants, and arrested their close relatives in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, sources said.

Reports said that forces raided the residence of Adil Ahmad Malik and Umar Nazir Malik, two active militants of Malik Gund village and arrested their close relatives.

Pertinently, in Turkwangam village forces allegedly vandalized the property of Zubair Ahmad Wani, an active militant and arrested his father while at Babekhider village of Shopian forces allegedly vandalized property of another militant, Obaid Malla and arrested his father and brother, local sources said.

The forces allegedly smashed windowpanes of the militant’s houses and damaged the properties.
