Suspected militants, Tuesday morning hurled a grenade at a police picket in Mehndikadal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district but there was no damage as it did not explode, police said.
The grenade landed close to the police picket, a police official said. It however did not explode, the official said, adding that a bomb disposal squad later diffused the bomb.
