Srinagar: Three persons were arrested, hours after they abducted and shaved off the hair and beard of a youth in Lolab area of north Kashmir on Sunday evening, police sources said.
They said that three persons abducted Ashiq Hussain Lone son of Mohammad Subhan lone of Diver Anderbugh village in Lolab and shaved off his beard and hair.
“The youth also made a video of it and upload it on social media,” police sources added.
The video went viral and police registered a case under FIR (71/2017 under section 355 , 364 RPC).
The trio was later arrested and investigations in the case have been started, police added.
