A person died and another was critically injured when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a Cart in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district late last evening, police said on Monday.
Two persons Firdous Ahmad son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Beighpora Awantipora and Javid Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Banderpora Awantipora were seriously injured when their motorcycle collided with a Cart near Padgampora Awantipora.
They were immediately taken to Sub District hospital Pampore in critical conditions where the Pillion mate Javaid Ahmad succumbed to his injuries at SDH Pampore. While Firdous Ahmad was referred to Srinagar hospital in a critical condition, a police official said.
