Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Ganderbal police on a specific tip off, laid a Naka at Police Post Shadipora headed by DO Shadipora Shri Tawseef Habib, during which one person namely Irshad Ahmad Bhat son of Sona-ul-lah Bhat resident of Kharbhag Batwina was apprehended and 400 grams of Charas in pure form and 6.5 kg of dried Bhung was recovered from his possession.
In this regard a case FIR No: 205/2017 under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered and investigation has been taken up.
