On a specific information, police party of Police Post Sangam under the Supervision of Division officer of Police Post Sangam laid a Naka at link road Marhama crossing.
During Naka checking, police apprehended one person namely Noor Mohd Ganie son of Abdul Raheem Ganie resident of Qazinpora Marhama and recovered 28 bottles of Rum and 04 beer tins from his possession.
In this connection, police arrested the bootlegger and a case FIR NO.166/2017 under section 48 Excise act stands registered.
