Two cops were injured when suspected militants attacked a joint naka in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

According to the reports, a  joint Police/Army Naka was established at Juhama,Baramulla for routine area domination.

“At about 1850 hours one motorcycle approached from opposite side and while seeing the Naka Party made an about turn. While being challenged to stop one among the two militants riding the motor cycle hurled a grenade towards the Naka Party,” police said.

“Two policemen received minor injuries”.

Police also said that the area has been cordoned to nab the culprits.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered and investigation taken up.
