A woman succumbed to her injuries in the border town of Poonch taking the death toll to two, reports said. The woman identified as Reshma Bi was injured during cross border motor shelling in Qasba village of Poonch early in the morning.
Earlier, a 10 year old kid was killed when armies of India and Pakistan exchanged heavy gunfire in Kirni, Shahpur Qasba, Gulpur Banvat top.
Two civilians were killed and five others were injured on the Indian side of border during the exchange of fire between the armies of two countries.
