National Conference on Saturday conducted a high-level meeting to review the preparations for the Party’s State Level Delegates’ Convention scheduled to be held in Srinagar in ending October.
Presiding over the meeting at National Conference Head Office, ‘Nawa-e-Subha’ in Srinagar, NC General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar asked the party leaders to ensure all preparations are in place well in time and party delegates from all the three regions of the State attend the convention in Srinagar.
The meeting was also attended by NC Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Party Vice President Chaudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Senior Leaders Shamima Firdous, Muhammad Sayeed Akhoon and Provincial Secretary Advocate Showkat Ahmed Mir.
The NC General Secretary said the convention would be an opportunity to delve on serious challenges facing the State and its people especially with regard to the onslaught on Article 35-A and Article 370 and the steps being taken by the party to evolve a unified, strong consensus on the grassroots level on these sensitive issues.
Sagar reviewed various arrangements that are underway and asked the party leaders to ensure all facilities are reviewed and in-place.
