The district authorities has decided to impose restrictions in areas of Srinagar city and Sopore on Friday.
An official said that restrictions under section 144 of CrPc would be imposed in areas falling under jurisdiction of eight police stations in Srinagar including Shaheedgunj, Karan Nagar, Maisuma, Kothibagh, Shergarhi, Kralkhud, Batmaloo and Ram Munshi Bagh in Srinagar.
Meanwhile, according to the additional district magistrate Baramulla, restrictions would remain in force in Sopore town of the district in view of law and order in the area.
