2 BSF personnel, 3 civilians injured in LoC firing

Two BSF soldiers and three civilians are reportedly injured in Pakistan firing near RS Pura sector, sources said.

They said that Indian Army is strongly retaliating to the ceasefire violation along the international border. Both the armies are resorting to heavy fire.

Pertinently, this is the second ceasefire violation in last 24 hours. Earlier on September 21, a civilian was injured amidst firing and shelling by Pakistan Rangers on the international border in Jammu district.

The firing was also reported in Samba district. Briefing the media, the police said, “Unprovoked heavy firing and shelling was started by Pakistan Rangers in Ramgarh sector of Samba district.Three civilians were injured earlier today in firing and shelling by Pakistan Rangers in Arnia sector of Jammu district.”
