At least four persons riding a Scooty were injured, two of them critically after they were hit by a speedy Sumo vehcile at Badibeera area of Sogam in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday afternoon, police said.

The accident occured around 4:30 PM. The injured have been identified as Umar Farooq, Ajaz Ahmad, Afaq Farooq and Adil Hussain.

All were shifted to SDH Sogam where from two of them were referred to SMHS Srinagar for advanced treatment, a health official confirmed.

Meanwhile, police has reached the spot and registered a case in this regard.
