Police on Wednesday claimed to have recovered a girl who was reported to have been missing from last fifteen days.
“:One lady namely Mst Khatoon wife of Abdul Rehman Sheikh resident of Hangalgund Kokernag reported in Police Station Kokernag on 18 /09/2017 that her daughter is missing from last fifteen days.” Police said.
In this regard, a missing report was lodged in Police Station Kokernag and a team was constituted under the supervision of SSP Anantnag to trace out the missing girl.
After strenuous efforts, the girl was recovered from Nussu Badragund area of Police Station Qazigund. After completion of all the legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her parents.
