A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was injured as armies of India and Pakistan exchanged heavy fire and shelling along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
According to source a BSF man was injured in shelling in Balnoi area in Mankote sector.
The identity of the injured soldier was not immediately known.
