First batch of Hajj flight lands at Srinagar airport

Honorable Minister for Revenue, Disaster Management , Relief and Rehabilitation and Reconstruction and Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Abdul Rahman Veeri And Baseer Ahmad Khan (IAS) Divisional Commissioner Kashmir on Friday received the first batch of Hajj pilgrims, returning from Saudi Arabiya after performing the pilgrimage, at the Srinagar International Airport.

Pertinently the first batch of Hajj flights was scheduled to land at the Srinagar Airport yesterday. However, the flights were returned back to Delhi where they had landed from Jeddah.

Aggrieved by the announcement scores of attendants yesterday staged  massive anti-government protest.
