One Jammu and Kashmir policeman was killed and seven other injured when suspected militants fired indiscriminately on a vehicle carrying policeman in Panthachowk area of Srinagar.

According to the sources, the attack took place near BSF camp on Zevan road. Sources said that heavy firing is going on and forces have cordoned off the area to nab the militants.
