Continuing its drive against the contraband crops and drug menace, police today destroyed bhang cultivation spread over 25 kanals of land in Pahalgam township of Anantnag district.
Anantnag Police has launched a special drive against the contraband crops, and destroyed bhang cultivation spread over a vast patch of land at village Lidroo Pahalgam during a day-long operation.
Police further warned bhang cultivators to desist from the cultivation of these narcotic plants failing which stern action shall be initiated against the culprits under the relevant provision of law.
Police said that the drive would continue till the menace is rooted out from district Anantnag.
