Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday met Home Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss the issue of legal challenge to Article 35(A) of Constitution and the funding of central government projects.

The Chief Minister may again raise her reservations about diluting Article 35(A), that gives Jammu and Kashmir Assembly powers to define permanent residents of the state and provide special rights and privileges to them.

Her visit comes against the backdrop of a legal challenge to the Article 35(A) in Supreme Court.
