Clashes erupted between protesters and government forces on Saturday in south Kashmir’s Kokernag area after Public Works Minister, Naeem Akhtar left the area.
According to the sources, Students of Government Degree College Kokernag in Anantnag district pelted stones on forces triggering clashes soon after Akhtar left the area.
The minister was there to inaugurate a PMGSY road.
