A 22-year-old worker was crushed to death and another was injured in a local factory in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday, reports said.
According to the reports, the slain youth was identified as Amir Ahmad Malik Son of Gulam Mohammad Malik from Lari Prang Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. He was employed at the local factory in Chinar Kangan.
Amir was caught in between the belt and the machine while working in the factory. Workers present said he was badly crushed and was rushed to Trauma hospital Kangan where doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, another youth Bashir Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh Kachnambal Kangan was critically injured in the accident and was referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
