A woman died while three others were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir valley, a police spokesman said.

He said that a Truck bearing registration number JK02S-9387 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Fareeda Begum resident of Kujjar, Tangbal at Kujjar Yaripora. The injured woman was shifted to Sub District Hospital Yaripora for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries.

After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her next of kins for last rites. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard.

In Handwara, an unknown Scooty hit and injured a pedestrian woman identified as Nazeera Begum resident of Mahadyari, Doolipora, Handwara at Hangalpora. She was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.

In Budgam, a Tipper bearing registration number JK04B-3072 driven by Mohammad Ashraf Khan resident of Beerwah hit a passenger Auto bearing registration number JK01F-9335 driven by Tasaduq Hussain Dar resident of Hamdania Colony, Bemina at Sabden, resulting  in injuries to the Auto driver. The injured was shifted to JVC Hospital, Bemina for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.

In Kupwara, a motorcycle met with an accident at Darpora, Lolab Lalpora, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist identified as Aquib Ahmad Mir resident of Darpora, Lalpora. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
