18 hour long cordon ends in Noorpora Tral

The eighteen hour long cordon has been lifted today in the morning in the Noor Pora village of Tral sub district.
Police sources said that  Cordon and search operation was launched in the area yesterday afternoon by government forces after receiving inputs about the presence of militants.

IGP Munir Khan while refuting the claims made my some news channels about the Zakir Musa being trapped in the cordon, took to twitter.

“I  fail to understand who told TV channels in Delhi about Zakir being in Noorpora.” He wrote on twitter.

 IGP Kashmir told this operation was never for Zakir.

After conducting door to door search operation, nothing suspicious was found in the area, which forced forces to call off the cordon.

Noor pora is the native village of newly formed Ansar Gozwatul Hind chief Zakir Rashid Bhat popularly known as Zakir Moosa.

Clashes were reported yesterday, however cordon ended peacefully in the morning.
