Situation limping back to normalcy in South Kashmir, says Police chief

 

Director General of Police SP Vaid today said that the situation in Kashmir valley is limping back to normalcy. He said that comparatively situation seems to be better in south Kashmir.

Vaid was speaking at a function today at District police lines in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Commenting on the NIA raids on Hurriyat leaders he said that those who have violated law must be punished so that people will come to know about the truth.

The police chief also urged police officers to take every possible step to stop the drug menace.

Meanwhile many police officers were present on the occasion. Among them were Inspector General Kashmir Muneer Khan, DIG South S. P. PANI, Mubashir Latifi, Sheikh Junaid and Waheed Shah.
