SOPORE, BARAMULLA, HAJIN SHUTS TO MOURN KILLINGS OF THREE LOCAL MILITANTS

 

A complete shutdown is being observed in Sopore, Baramulla and Hajin on Sunday to mourn the killings of three militants yesterday.

 

All shops, business establishments remain complete shut while as public transport is off the roads. However despite the restrictions imposed by authorities in some localities of Sopore town including Main Chowk, Batpora crossing, Main Bazaar and Tehsil road minor clashes erupted after youths pelted stones on government forces. 

Meanwhile shutdown was also observed in Baramulla and Hajin towns to mourn the killings of local militants. Hundreds of people were seen visiting the houses of trio slain militants.

 

Three local LeT militants were killed by government forces in Amargrah Sopore of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday morning.

 

Ther militants who were killed were identified as Javid Ahmad Dar of Khanpora Baramulla, Aabid Hamid Mir of Hajin Bandipora and Danish Showkat Dar of Batpora sopore.
