Most parts of Anantnag district observed a complete shutdown against the killing of a local militant, Yawar Nisar.
All shops, business establishments, Oil Stations remained off in the area.
Meanwhile hundreds of Locals are constantly thronging the residence of the slain militant.
The Anantnag town, Achabal areas, Khanabal areas are also observing shut down in protest.
Yawar was killed in an encounter with troopers on 03 August in Kanelwan area of Anantnag District.
