Thirteen teachers including two head masters of Government Middle School Aharbal and Government Middle School Chakwatoo were Monday suspended after they were found absent from their duty during a surprise inspection by Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) DH Pora, Nazir Ahmad.

As per the order under number ZEO/DHP/4314-17/17 dated 31-07-2017, thirteen teachers including two head masters Government Middle School Aharbal and Government Middle School Chakwatoo were suspended today.

Ahmad conducted the surprise visit to the two schools in the morning hours at 09: 40 am–10:15 am. “All the nine teachers including a head master were present at Government Middle School Aharbal while four teachers including a head master and three ReT’s of Government Middle School Chakwatoo were found absent from their duty,” officials said, adding that all the absentees have been placed under suspension.

As per the order, both the head masters who have been placed under suspension have been attached to Zonal Education Office DH Pora.

According to sources, ZEO said that the teachers who will be found absent from their duties will face the action.

“We won’t allow the teachers to ruin the career of our students. Strict action will be taken against those found absent from their duties,” he added.
