Police has arrested six gamblers and recovered a stake money over eight thousands from the gambling site Srinagar.

According to the police statement, following a tip off, a police party headed by SHO Police Station Ram Munshibagh, Mohammad Isaq raided a gambling place and arrested six people while gambling.

They were identified as Fayaz Ahmad Wangoo, Manzoor Ahmad Lone, Shahid Ahmad Bhat, Farooq Ahmad Sofi, Muhammad Reyaz Badoo and Bashir Ahmad Bhat. 

Police said that a stake money of Rupees 8030 was recovered from the gambling site. Srinagar police has registered a case FIR number 72/17 under section 13 Gambling Act and investigations has been taken up.
