Cordon and search operation (CASO) has been launched by government forces in HMT Shalteng Srinagar .

Forces  after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area have cordoned-off the entire area.

Heavy forces have been deployed and door to door search operation was going on when the last reports came in.

Clashes were  also reported between forces and civilians.
