CUK, HKM Degree college holds Youth Summit-2017

In joint collaboration between Department of Students Welfare (DSW), Central University of Kashmir (CUK) and HKM Government Degree College Bandipore, Youth Summit-2017 was held at Degree College premises here.

Speaking at the valedictory function, Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj-ud-Din advised the students to be upright in their dealings and always keep the fear of Almighty, obedience to parents and respect to elders as guiding light in their life. He informed the students to be ready to face the difficulties in life taking them as challenges and thus convert threats into opportunities.

He further advised the students to make best use of time and do today what you have to do today. He also assured full support to the Degree College Bandipore in any academic endeavour.

Earlier, the summit was inaugurated by Prof. H.G. Mustaffa, Principal Degree College Bandipore and the keynote address was delivered by Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Nika, Dean Students Welfare CUK.

On this occasion five presentations were made on diverse themes like Developing Interpersonal Relationship, Health Care Management, Right to Information and contemporary social challenges. The presentations were made by Prof. H.G. Mustaffa, Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Nika, Danish, M.Y Shaheen , Dr. Shaikh Gulam Rasool and Mohsin Nazir. Large number of students participated in the summit and took active part in interaction on several issues.

Finance Officer CUK, Haji Bashir Ahmad and Assistant Registrar Imtiyaz Ahmad were also present. The programme was conducted by Dr. G.M. Khan while as Dr. Kounsar Parveen proposed the vote of thanks.
