Three women were killed after a cloudburst struck Thatri town of district Doda of Jammu and Kashmir during the intervening night of July 19- 20 , 2017.
A number of residential houses, shops, a school and several vehicles were washed away in flash floods which inundated vast areas along Batote-Kishtwar highway.
Scores of people have also gone missing after the cloudburst triggered flash floods.
An official said that eight persons, including a 12-year-old boy, were rescued after the flooding.

The deceased have been identified as Neeru Devi, 35, wife of Dev Raj R/O Nagni, Sareshta Devi D/O Ram Prashad R/O Balgran and Patna Devi 45 D/O Hans Raj Resident of Chansar, Gandoh.
Rescue operation is still on.
