The “Kashmir Awareness Campaign” initiated by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) will be continued today, reports said.
The campaign was started at midnight yesterday as part of the resistance program to highlight the Kashmir dispute and the grave human rights situation arising as a consequence of that.
The leadership asked the Kashmiri diaspora world over to associate with the campaign and make efforts to take it forward. JRL said that as part of the campaign a signature petition by the leadership on behalf of the people of Kashmir has been launched online as well.
Following the call by the JRL, police had yesterday snapped the internet services in Kashmir.
