Militants attack army patrol in Bandipora, three soldiers injured

Three soldiers were injured in a militant attack in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday, reports said.

An official said that militants attacked an army patrol party near Army Goodwill school in Hajin area of the district around 3 am. The injured included an officer of Captain rank.

The officials said that three army men of 13 RR were wounded in the attack. He further said that the injured were taken to a hospital for treatment.

The injured were identified as Captain Parveen, Sepoy Brijesh Lal Bahadur and Sepoy Ramesh Kumar.

The official said that the whole area was cordoned off by the army to nab the militants.
