A 22-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming poison in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, police said today.
Soon after the incident, family members immediately took her to a hospital, where she was declared brought dead.
Police handed over the body of the deceased to her relatives for lasts rites. A case has been registered in this regard.
