Heavy clashes have erupted between youth and government forces in Malangpora Awantipora, sources said.

According to local sources three Hizbul Mujahideen militants are believed to be trapped. 

Government forces  launched cordon in Malangpora village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

However , people have come out on streets to help the militants escape which led to intense clashes between the forces and the youth.

Meanwhile, search operation is  going on amid clashes.
