JKLF leaders hold peaceful protest rally at Budshah Chowk

The zonal president of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Noor Muhammad Kalwal, on Friday, led a protest near Budshah Chowk-Lal Chowk against the killings and prolonging incarceration of Kashmiri inmates.

He said, “We cannot remain silent spectators over the killing spree. The international community too is maintaining silence over this.”

The call for today’s protest was given by the united resistance leadership. JKLF leaders and activists, including Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Mushtaq Ajmal, Muhammad Yasin Butt, Muhammad Sideeq Shah and Muhammad Haneef, along with others gathered near Budshah Chowk Srinagar and staged a peaceful protest again killing spree, especially the Pulwama incident.

Earlier, JKLF leaders said that the killings in Kashmir were continuing unabated and that too in the holy month of Ramadan. They said that killings, arrests, house arrests, crackdowns, beatings will not deter us from pursuing the path of truth and freedom.

They paid tributes to all those who have been killed.
