Yasin Malik condemns Kakapora youth’s killing

The chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik, on Thursday, visited the SMHS hospital and enquired about the health condition of the youth who sustained bullet injuries during the clashes in Kakapora area of Pulwama.

Accompanied by Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Malik condemned the killing of Tawseef Ahmad and the injured.

He said, “The forces had earlier killed Shaheed Majid, Shaheed Shariq and Shaheed Shabeer at Pulwama and before that two others Gulzar Ahmad Lone and Basit Ahmad Mir in Sopore. Were they not satisfied that they fired indiscriminately on commoners and killed one and injuring several in Kakpora?”

Malik met the doctors attending the injured and enquired about their condition.

A delegation of JKLF comprising of Muhammad Rajab, Tariq Ahmad and Nisar Ahmad visited the residences of those killed in the encounter and participated in their funeral prayers.

Malik also paid tribute to Ajaz Ahmad Bazaz (Yasir) of Basant Bagh, who was killed in the custody by SOG in 2000.
