Pampore shuts to mourn militant killings

Pampore town and other parts of south Kashmir are observing continuous shutdown on fourth consecutive day against the killing of three militants in Arwani village of Kulgam on Friday, reports said.

Three LeT militant Junaid Matto of Khudwani Kulgam, Adil Ahmad Mir of Pampore and Waseem Ahmad of Heff Shopian were killed in a gun battle with government forces at Arwani village of Kulgam district on Friday.

All shops, business establishments and schools remained closed in Pampore area and its adjoining villages.

Reports said that many parts of Kulgam district also remained shut to mourn the militant killings.
