Following last night’s multiple militant attacks in south Kashmir, a high alert has been sounded across Kashmir valley, repotrs said.
”Security has been tightened across the valley today in view of multiple grenade attacks carried out by militants in Pulwama district last night,” an official said.
Pertinently, nine CRPF men, four policemen and two army soldiers were wounded in the attacks.
Hizbul Mujahideen had claimed responsibility for the attack on CRPF camp.
However, DGP SP Vaid has blamed the Jaish-e-Mohammad militant outfit for the last night attacks.
“Hizbul Mujahideen has larger presence but yesterday’s incidents (attacks) were carried out by Jaish-e-Mohammad, as per our intelligence reports,” Vaid said.
