Scores were injured after government forces allegedly went brisk in Turkawangam village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district during a nocturnal raid.
Locals alleged that forces damaged property worth lakhs in Turkawangam village during the late night.
They said that nocturnal raid started around 11:30 pm and continued till 2 am.
They continuously thrashed people, damaged houses and vehicles up to 2 am in which many persons got injured, who have been shifted to Srinagar for treatment, locals added.
It is pertinent to mention here that yesterday afternoon youth hurled rocks on vehicles of forces in the same village in which one army vehicle and one private car were partially damaged.
