Police-Public Library dedicated to people in Baramulla

In order to facilitate the aspirants of competitive exams, IGP Nitish Kumar today dedicated Police Public Library established by J&K Police to people of Baramulla.

A large galaxy of eminent citizens including academicians and students were present on the occasion. The library shall be catering the needs of aspirants of various competitive examinations especially civil service aspirants and those aspiring for JEE/NEET.        

On this occasion, IGP Nitish Kumar said that the endeavor is to provide all requisite facilities to aspirants of various competitive examinations.

          In the initial stage books pertaining to competitive examinations and general interest have been made available with the internet facility for downloading the study material. Also, a Xerox machine will remain available to give study material to beneficiaries at actual cost on no profit basis.

          He said the aim is to make this library a full-fledged Centre for career foundation and advancement with facilities of On-line digital library, guidance and counseling. Police department will also be organizing workshops and seminars for the benefit of boys and girls aspiring for better future in life.

          Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, President Bar Association Baramulla, Director North Campus Kashmir University also spoke on the occasion who commended J&K Police for taking this initiative for the benefit of aspiring candidates of competitive examinations.
