Communication gap leads to behavioural problems in children: IGP

Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone,  Shri Munir Ahmad Khan visited Drug de-addiction centre and printing press in PCR complex and took stock of functioning of these units here today, a police statement issued here said.

On his visit to the Police Drug De-addiction Centre, IGP interacted with the recovering patients and their parents. While interacting with the parents he advised them to spend quality time with their children, saying that Communication gap leads to behavioural problems in children.

He also advised the recovering patients to take full advantages of counselling and other facilities and get themselves out of use of the drugs. IGP further assured the patients for up-gradation of gym facilities in the centre.

Khan also interacted with the staff members of the centre and expressed his satisfaction over the functioning of centre. He took note of the issues of staff members and assured them for quick redressal.

Later, IGP visited the police printing press and took stock of its functioning.

SSP PCR, Shri Sohail Munawar Mir, SO to IGP Kashmir, Shri Muzaffar Ahmad Shah and other senior officers of the PCR Complex were also present on these occasions.
