The Srinagar-Jammu highway was closed for traffic following a militant attack on an army convoy in Lower Munda area on Saturday.
One soldier was killed and six others were wounded in the attack that took place near Qazigund.
According to the reports, the traffic was suspended on the highway and a cordon and search operation launched to nab the attackers.
