At least 9 youths have been arrested by police during nocturnal raids from different areas of Pattan town of Baramulla district on Monday, a local news gathering agency reported.

According to the police sources, a group of youth allegedly attacked some private vehicles on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway near Singhpora Pattan resulting in the injuries to the few people.

Taking cognizance of the incident, police conducted nocturnal raids and arrested 9 youths.

Meanwhile, Choki Officer Mirgund said formal cases stand registered against the arrested youth.
