10 persons injured in separate road accidents on Monday

Ten persons were injured in different road accidents across the valley on Monday.

As per the statement from Zonal Police Headquarters (ZPH), In Ganderbal, an Eco sports car bearing registration number RJ09CB-5053 driven by Parvaiz Khan, resident of Nimbhada Rajasthan hit and injured a lady named Mehtaba resident of Gund, near bridge, which falls in the jurisdiction of Police Station, Gund.

Ganderbal police has registered a case in this regard.

“In Baramulla, an Alto car bearing registration number JK01J-6293 driven by Shabir Ahmad Pir resident of Kupwara hit and injured two pedestrians namely Ali Mohammad Bhat and Bashir Ahmad Ganaie residents of Chainbal at Chainbal which falls in the jurisdiction of Police Post Mirgund, Pattan.” “Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard,” The statement added.  

“In Anantnag, a Sumo bearing registration number JK03C-6825 driven by Nisar Ahmad Rawloo resident of Wangam and a Tavera bearing registration number JK03C-3882 driven by Refaz Ahmad Deka resident of Desoo Daksum collided at Buchoo which falls in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kokernag, resulting in injuries to six passengers,” ZPH statement said.

Kokernag police has registered a case in this regard too.

In Srinagar, as per the statement issued, “a Maruti car bearing registration number JK01E-2133 driven by Bilal Ahmad Rah resident of S.D Colony Batamaloo hit and injured a  pedestrian girl namely Haya Jan resident of S.D Colony Batamaloo  near Kaman Post Batamaloo. The injured girl was shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.”
